Storm Summary and Projection:
Hurricane Summary POSTED: July 3, 2015 4:36 a.m. Atlantic Staying Quiet AccuWeather meteorologists are tracking a few tropical waves across the Atlantic Basin, but none are showing signs of organization. One tropical wave will swiftly move across the western Gulf of Mexico today before moving into South Texas and Mexico tonight and on Saturday. This wave will not have a chance to develop further before moving inland. Another wave is moving through the Lesser Antilles, but it is weak and moving too quickly to develop. Trade winds will remain strong across the Tropical Atlantic and Caribbean into next week. Saharan dust continues to pour off the African coast and across much of the basin as well, further deterring tropical development. Quiet conditions are expected to last well into next week.
