Storm Summary and Projection:
Hurricane Summary POSTED: July 29, 2015 6:06 a.m. Tropical Development Unlikely Across the Atlantic Basin Through Next Week The Atlantic Basin will continue to remain quiet for the rest of this week. The only feature of significance is a stalled frontal boundary off the southeastern U.S. coast extending across Florida into the northeastern Gulf of Mexico. Weak surface lows tracking along the frontal boundary from Florida to just west of Bermuda will track into a zone of strong vertical wind shear preventing the necessary organization for development. Elsewhere across the Atlantic basin, strong wind shear and a large Saharan dust layer continue to inhibit tropical development over the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean and much of the southwestern Atlantic. These unfavorable environmental conditions are likely to continue through the next five-seven days. By AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dan Kottlowski
